As the designer and developer of the Tren Maya mobile app, I tried to replicate the physical guide built by the Mexican government (https://inah.gob.mx/data/trenmaya/guia/web/ ) which makes use of colorful map with images in specific locations that contribute to highlight the features of the region. In the app I followed many of these design hints and built an engaging and informative application that showcases the charm of the Yucatán Peninsula for travelers opting to use the Tren Maya as a way to get around.

Tren Maya Route: Developed a feature that allows users to explore the fascinating journey of the Tren Maya along the picturesque peninsula, highlighting the cultural and natural riches near each station.

Emblematic Stations: Designed a section to introduce key stations along the route, each with its own history and nearby attractions. This feature enables users to plan their trips and discover local gems at each stop.

Interactive Map: Created an interactive map that provides detailed information about each operational segment of the Tren Maya. Users can stay informed about the areas already connected by this transformative project.

Immersive Experience: Implemented an immersive feature that uses images and detailed descriptions to showcase the beauty and diversity of the Yucatán Peninsula. This prepares users for a unique adventure that blends history, culture, and modernity.
