Stillframe is a minimalist website concept for a boutique photography studio. The brief was simple: build something quiet, cinematic, and clear. No noise. Just a studio that speaks through intention and light.
The brand needed a portfolio site that didn’t just show work — it needed to feel like the work. Calm layout, strong grid, soft cream background, and typography that holds its ground. I handled everything from mood direction to layout structure and copywriting.
✦ The Goal
Design a digital experience that feels like stepping into a focused photography studio.
Reflect the brand’s calm, intentional tone through layout and color.
Make it easy for visitors to trust, feel inspired, and take action.
✦ Challenges
Balancing minimalism with memorability — how do you make something simple feel premium?
Making sage green (#6AB288) work without feeling dull, and pairing it with accent tones that still felt calm.
Sourcing cinematic visuals that didn’t feel overused or generic.
✦ My Approach
Chose typography (PP Formula + PP Object Sans) that balances strength and elegance.
Structured each section like a visual story: Hero → About → Services → Stats → Testimonials → Final CTA.
Created content that aligns with what a real studio would say — no filler, just clarity.
Designed a dark hero image layout to mimic the focus light of a photo studio.
✦ Outcome
Full design concept ready to be developed in Webflow or Framer.
A premium-looking brand identity system for a small photography business.
Can easily be adapted for real client work in the creative, fashion, or product space.
Portfolio piece that communicates both design skill and brand strategy.
