These are some illustrations I did for an upcoming site for Keycare. They provide an app for those suffering with illness and usually these people are in an older demographic. I wanted the main illustrations to show people doing regular life activities to show that through Keycare you can now live a normal life.

I usually begin the illustration process with research and moodboarding and then once I have an approved direction from the client I start to sketch!

In this case I wanted my sketches to be a solid stepping stone for the final vector so I took a little extra time to make sure all the proportions were correct. In some cases you could just scribble your ideas down and they don't have to be perfect. But with this project I decided to plan the composition and the details in this phase.

The client requested that we make a little style guide if they ever needed to replicate this style.

I put together the most important requirements for this specific style.

I could've added a lot more information but we didn't want the guide to be overwhelming. Sometimes less is more.

By referencing previous illustrations and our simple guide I am confident those trying to replicate this style would be able to do so with ease.

This last step is the cherry on top 🍒

These two brush stroke patterns overlaid on top of the illustrations really tie everything together and give it a unified look.
