Founded Saudi Arabia's first electronic music publication - Verse 69 - focused on music, club fashion, interviews, tech reviews, and visuals in the global electronic dance music space. The magazine ran 3 print issues and pivoted to an online publication. In addition to managing editorial duties I also oversaw team members running web development, creative design, social media and digital marketing. The publication folded during the 2016 music summer season in Ibiza. My experiences with Verse 69 taught me a lot about the importance of being supported by a strong sales and business team if one is to achieve long-term success and motivation to run creative projects like a magazine or a publication.
