Our brief was to create 3 print ads for any of the given brands - I chose Febreze as the brand to create these ads on - here was when we started to use the process of building things like Strategy statements and Proposition statements and understanding the difference between them.

Concept

Strategy Statement:
Brand: Febreze
Convince: Families and Homeowners
That: Febreze is trustworthy lasts longer than most rom freshening sprays
Because: They know how hard it is to cover certain imperfections within your newly built home
Support: helping families cover things that don't want to be smelt or seen by new friends just to help make friends easier in a new neighborhood.
Proposition Statement:
Literal Statement - Febreze last longs as all the little things lingering in your house
Lateral Statement - A lasting breeze for your home’s little things
Concept:
My basic concept was using the first design as a launching point - I wanted to produce ads that homeowners could actually relate to (since they are the biggest consumer of the Febreze air freshener product). So I came up with 3 main ideas - Christmas decorations, family photos, and Thanksgiving food. With these 3 ideas I came up with how none of these elements of the house never leave their essence behind:
Christmas decorations are ‘never’ taken down or taken down much later
Family photos are never discarded
Thanksgiving food is never ending so you always have leftovers
