Project Overview

Client: Noble Grind Coffee Co.
Role: Brand Strategy, UI/UX Design, & Framer Development
The Goal: To build a digital space that mirrors the sensory, warm, and highly curated experience of a physical specialty coffee shop.

The Strategy: Translating Identity into Interaction

Every brand speaks a language. For Noble Grind, that language is built on a simple premise: "The Art of Good Coffee." They are offering an intentional moment to enjoy, pause, and appreciate artisanal craftsmanship.
As a designer, my job is to act as a translator. I interpret a brand’s physical ethos and implement it into a seamless, highly functional digital experience using Framer.

Design Breakdown

The digital storefront needs to instantly capture the atmosphere of the café. I opted for a bold, editorial typographical treatment. The goal was to establish visual hierarchy immediately: sophisticated yet deeply welcoming.

2. Establishing the Atmosphere

To communicate Noble Grind's core belief that "a good cup of coffee can set the tone for the day," the layout utilizes generous negative space and asymmetric imagery grids. This structure prevents the site from feeling crowded, allowing the copy and the editorial aesthetics to breathe, mimicking a slow morning at a coffee bar.

3. Menu & Operations

For the opening hours and menu discovery sections, the information is laid out with stark typographic contrast. The interactive "Discover the Full Menu" links act as intuitive call-to-actions without disrupting the visual harmony.

4. Interactive Origins: "Every Coffee Has a Story to Tell"

Great design tells a narrative. To highlight Noble Grind's dedication to sourcing, I built a dedicated "Stories of Origin" section featuring an integrated interactive element. It guides the user through the coffee's journey from harvest to the destination cup, turning a simple webpage into an educational brand experience.

What I Did

Visual Strategy & Curation: Establishing a cohesive, premium look and feel that aligns with the premium nature of specialty coffee.
UI/UX Design: Crafting an asymmetric, clean, and highly readable layout prioritizing white space and visual breathing room.
Framer Development: Transforming design concepts into a high-performance website with smooth interactions, custom embeds, and optimized mobile responsiveness.
