Car Data API

I am actively engaged in a project that involves the integration of the Car Data API into my own back-end infrastructure, utilizing the powerful ExpressJS framework. Through the utilization of a Third Party Product, we have unlocked the ability to measure the Camber and Toe of vehicles without the need for driving them up a ramp, resulting in substantial time savings.
By harnessing the capabilities of the Auto Data API, along with a custom algorithm that leverages the data obtained from the device, we can accurately determine if a car requires adjustments before driving it up the ramp. This intelligent calculation process optimizes the workflow and ensures that vehicles are only directed to the ramp when necessary.
To efficiently store and manage the relevant information such as car registration numbers, measurements, and used devices, a robust and scalable database has been constructed using the TypeORM framework. This ensures data integrity and provides a solid foundation for seamless data management.
The source code for this project is a combination of powerful technologies, including TypeORM for database operations, ExpressJS for building the back-end API, and TypeScript for enhanced type safety and code maintainability.
In order to facilitate testing and monitoring, I am currently initiating the development of a simple yet functional Admin Dashboard. This dashboard will be created using NextJS, a popular framework that provides robust app routing capabilities and facilitates the rapid development of user-friendly interfaces.
In summary, my current project encompasses the integration of the Car Data API, leveraging ExpressJS and TypeORM, to revolutionize the measurement of Camber and Toe in vehicles. This cutting-edge solution delivers significant time savings and offers a promising foundation for further advancements in the automotive industry.
