When approaching this project, I knew I wanted to tell a story, not just promote a platform. I focused on sharing my personal experience with Contra: how it supported me during my first year back as a full-time creative, and why I continue to use it today.
The best kind of UGC comes from real, lived experiences.
And with short form content, you only have a few seconds to make an impact.
That’s why I pulled from actual footage I captured during that time, highlighting the authenticity that made Contra part of my journey.
It felt really special to reflect on that chapter and turn it into something meaningful for other independents to see.
