Be Here Now: Book cover, merchandise, and marketing

This project was centered around the fictitious self-help book, Be Here Now. I created this book cover with these main themes in mind: simplicity, minimalism, and serenity. This vision came to life first from the color palette. I love how peaceful pink and green feel together. Then, I discovered some images that fit the overall look I had in mind. From there on, I played around with the positioning of everything until I liked the layout.

To begin creating a world around this book, I created a tote bag. I imagined it being used at a self-help conference or retreat where this book is being shared and promoted. Below, I created a social media post to help promote the book.

To continue expanding the world around the book, I also created a wall poster and candle design. Much like the tote bag, I imagined these showing up in spaces where the book is being shared, like at a self-help retreat.
