Automation of snapshots in AWS by Lambda

I had created the backup retention script for Fortum. And what our script do is it take snapshots for every instances by describing only those instances for which we need to take snapshots and it does the retention of the snapshots as well. I can not tell more as, It is a concern of privacy but yeah I develop[ed this soltution.
