OCD is made up of obsessions and compulsions. Obsessions are unwanted and unpleasant thought, image or urge that repeatedly enters your mind, causing feelings of anxiety, disgust or unease. Compulsions are repetitive behaviours or mental acts that you feel you need to do to temporarily relieve the unpleasant feelings brought on by the obsessive thought.

The concept behind this project is to create an audiovisual experience that feels similar to putting the user in a person with OCD's shoes, using the physical button as the 'compulsion' with the visuals and audio as the 'obsession'.

The visuals (i.e. eyes, striking colours, intrusive thoughts) and audio (i.e. rain sounds, ringing sounds, noise music) are meant to raise both uncomfortable and relieved feelings within the user as they go through this experience.
