She spent the last 2 years in regrets.
After burying her head in books, Christine graduated with a 2nd class-upper in petroleum engineering.
She was celebrated greatly for being the only girl at the top of her class. A class of 85 students which had just 12 girls.
Her parents were so proud of her.
She got so many job offers and after research, she took one from one of the biggest oil companies in her country, her dream company.
She was living her dream life as a new intern in the company and was performing pretty well.
After two years of working with the company, she was relieved of her job.
Why? You may ask.
Yeah, she was in shock as well, everyone was.
She was known to be the best, so why would they relieve her of her job when there were hundreds of people with whom she did better?
The downside to the story was, Christine only performed well in the theoretical aspect of her job, but the company needed more and she couldn't deliver.
All she did in school was read to pass, and she was good at it.
A year went by and her frustration kept building because she had nothing to do, no skill, no job.
2 years had gone and she had become a burden on her parents.
She needed a way out badly, but all she knew was her book, nothing else.
What would be your advice for Christine?
If you were Christine, what would you do?
