NasFund, a fintech platform, needed to simplify their complex Sevis Pass product for new users. The product had strong utility but was difficult to communicate clearly, especially to first-time users unfamiliar with fintech tools. They needed a video that could break down the value proposition quickly and drive both app downloads and in-person walk-ins.
My Approach
I started by working closely with the NasFund team to understand the core user journey and the key pain points their product solves. From there, I developed a visual narrative that stripped away jargon and focused on what matters to the end user: simplicity, trust, and clear next steps.
The animation style was designed to feel approachable and modern, matching NasFund's brand identity while keeping the pacing tight enough to hold attention through the full explainer.
Tools & Process
Figma for initial storyboarding and layout exploration
Adobe Illustrator for creating custom vector assets and character illustrations
After Effects for animation, motion graphics, and final compositing
The entire project was delivered in 2 weeks, from brief to final render.
The Result
The client approved the very first draft with virtually no revisions, a rare outcome that reflected how well the discovery and storyboarding phase aligned expectations upfront. The video has since helped NasFund grow their customer numbers on the application and increase in-person walk-ins.
