HeartWatch is a device created by the startup Helpwear that helps monitor patients’ heart activity remotely, allowing potential risk situations to be prevented.

In this type of animated explainer video, where the product deals with critical health situations, it’s always a challenge to find the right tone so that the characters and overall aesthetic support the seriousness of the subject, while still staying within a cartoon visual style.

My role in this project: Art direction, design, storyboarding, animation, video editing, and sound. Working for Ajax Creative, Toronto, Canada.
