I worked for author David Mike in providing a voice acting narration of his book, Dishonor.
The Idea and How I Accomplished It
For this project, I worked to provide a moving narration for an autobiographical account of a soldier's dishonorable discharge and eventual redemption. I had to get into the mind of the characters, the good and the bad, in order to accurately portray each one as an individual. I used tone changes to depict various emotions, including anger, regret, joy, and sadness.
Result
The client, author David Mike, was very appreciative of my work, saying,
I can’t thank Caleb enough for such an amazing job narrating my memoir with dedication and attention to detail. We talked before he started in order for me to explain my expectations and he took everything and ran with it. Caleb kept me informed the entire time, worked quickly to get the job done in the time we discussed and took every bit of feedback to edit the story to my liking.
