U Visa / Hardship Statement writer

Many immigrants suffer of a crime in US soil. USCIS offers immigration relief to those victims who are able to provide information about the crime at hand. U Visas require the victim to retell their stories and facilitate information to the authorities.

The main issue with writing a statement is that many do not know how to approach it, or even what questions have to be checked out in order to create a good case. Other client's struggle with putting their thoughts into words and it becomes much more challenging if they do not speak English.

My RESPONSIBILITY as a statement writer is to cover all the bullet points set by USCIS and tell a truthful story about the events that lead to the crime. I accurately portray the client's worries and feelings for them to be heard and their rights to be respected and protected.

My JOB is to ask the client the right questions as well as answer the officer's questions with a well-developed account of the crime in fluent and eloquent English, but still preserving the client's personality and voice.
