DOVV Studio

Overview

DOVV is the independent web design and development studio I run from Argentina. The old site was a clean Framer template that did its job, but it looked like a lot of other studio sites, and it was hard to stand out with it. I rebuilt it from scratch as a fully custom site: a playful, tactile experience that shows how I work, with a CMS for new projects and a technical base built for search.

The approach

Stickers you can peel

Holographic stickers in the brand colors sit around the headline and the footer. The foil shifts with the mouse, and every sticker can be peeled off from wherever you grab it. Pull past halfway and it comes off in your hand, falls off the screen, then pops back into place.

Typography that reacts

Giant condensed type sets the tone, from the hero to the "SAY HELLO" footer. It uses a variable font that reacts to the cursor: letters get thinner as you move near them.

A 3D version of me

To put a face to the studio, I scanned myself with my phone and turned the scan into a low poly character with a PS2-era look: flat faces, real colors, chunky pixels. It turns as you scroll and plays a different animation when you click it.

Built for phones too

Every interaction was reworked for mobile: stickers resized and moved around the headline, a stacked layout for the process cards, and a hero that loads without jumps.

The result

A site that feels like the studio: personal, playful and clearly hand made. Visitors don't just read about the craft, they play with it, peeling stickers, chasing letters with the cursor and clicking a tiny 3D me. It works the same on desktop and on mobile, and it was submitted to Awwwards.

Rebuilt my studio site from Framer to a custom Astro + Sanity stack: holo stickers you can peel, a PS2-style 3D scan of me, and SEO-ready service pages.
