Lead DevOps Engineer

Acting as both manager and Product Owner (PO) of the DevOps team. Responsible for the DevOps Team management and leadership. Management of both cloud and on-premises servers. Automation of administrative tasks using Python, Ansible and Terraform. Improved usage of AWS Cloud resources. Backlog organization, creation of long-term roadmap for the DevOps and Infrastructure team, in-depth cost analysis and forecast. Responsible to run daily stand-ups and organize scrum ceremonies accordingly. Responsible for keeping the Kanban board up to date. Analysis, development and deployment of scalable Python web applications developed on the Pyramid framework. Evaluation and analysis of several third-party Ruby on Rails and Elixir/Phoenix applications. Optimization and refactoring of legacy code. Rehosting, relocation and replatforming of several applications from on-premises/bare metal servers to Amazon AWS cloud infrastructure.

Responsible for recruiting and manage the Virtual Assistants team, which worked delegated to the main office executives in California. The team was located in different locations in Brazil and had more than 20 resources at the moment when I left the company. Also responsible for the DevOps Team management and leadership.
