Ablefy Black Friday Retro Campaign Design

ablefy launched a Black Friday promotional campaign that generated additional sales of over €240,000. The company wanted to use an 80s retro theme. To achieve this, I designed a custom Black Friday logo that was used across all marketing and social media channels, as well as creating a header animation and a landing page.
The header animation consists of two Lottie files stacked on top of each other in HTML. This allowed me to assign unique CSS values to each element. The animated grid in the background is always set to 100% of the viewport width, while the text “Black Friday” has a limited maximum width, allowing for a truly responsive header animation.
This landing page was created in Webflow. The original brand guidelines for ablefy were based on a “Bauhaus” design system with numerous geometric shapes. For Black Friday, I transformed this design system into a dark, monochrome neomorphic design and added a slight glow effect to the standard green color to emphasize the retro theme of the 1980s.
