Bowmore X Auston Martin | 3D Animation

Goal The aim of this project was to challenge myself by creating a luxury beverage product animation. Bowmore Whiskey, with its stunning design, was the perfect choice as I felt it deserved a sophisticated animation to showcase its elegance and craftsmanship.

Challenges This project presented several challenges:

Reference materials: Finding high-quality images of the product was challenging.

Label design: Accurate product labels were unavailable, necessitating their recreation from scratch.

Approach To tackle these challenges, I:

Gathered a limited number of reference images and used similar product designs to guide my modeling and texturing process.

Designed the labels in Photoshop, ensuring they captured the authenticity and luxury associated with the brand.

Analyzed various luxury beverage advertisements to draw inspiration and craft a compelling narrative for the animation.

Blender: Utilized for 3D modeling and animation to achieve a realistic and detailed visualization.

Photoshop: Created custom labels and textures to enhance the product’s visual appeal.

After Effects: Performed video editing and compositing to ensure a polished and seamless animation.

Paid close attention to timing and pacing to maintain viewer engagement and effectively convey the product’s luxurious aura.

Results The final output is a captivating 3D animation that elegantly showcases the Bowmore Whiskey bottle, emphasizing its intricate design and premium quality. The project highlights the brand’s luxury and attention to detail, creating an engaging visual experience.

Conclusion Through this project, I significantly enhanced my 3D animation and workflow skills. It provided valuable experience in luxury product visualization and reinforced my ability to creatively overcome challenges. The process further fueled my passion for high-end product animations and my commitment to delivering top-tier visual content.
