PROJECT
A self-directed cover-design project by Shocker OwnZ for Project 0: The Grow Bible. The visual direction translates a genetics-preservation identity into coordinated front-and-back cover artwork.
DESIGN OBJECTIVE
Create a recognizable publication identity and organize a dense subject into a cover that communicates its theme at a glance. This case study assesses visual communication, not the scientific contents of the book.
VISUAL DECISIONS
Large distressed typography leads with the title. Botanical imagery anchors the composition. Crimson-and-black surfaces, the gas-mask brand mark and Project 0 signature connect the cover to the broader identity. Topic groups and image panels organize the back-cover direction.
DELIVERABLES
Front-cover composition, back-cover direction, typography hierarchy and an illustrative dimensional mockup. This is not a measured printer template, approved spine calculation or production-ready wrap. The portfolio presentation omits the supplied ISBN/barcode and replaces unverified superlatives and photography/results claims.
OUTCOME
The designs demonstrate a consistent publication direction. No publisher acceptance, book sales, ISBN assignment, physical printing or manuscript validation is claimed.
YOUR PROJECT
Book and ebook covers can be scoped from your title, audience and authorized assets. Print preparation requires final trim size, page count, paper specification and printer template.
PRESENTATION NOTE
AI-assisted mockup derived from owner-created artwork; its spine and physical appearance are illustrative, not a photographed printed edition.
