Amnesty International sought to upgrade their e-learning packages into more engaging, dynamic experiences. They required a blend of videos, interviews, and motion graphics that would captivate a global audience. To bring this vision to life, they needed year-long support to establish a cohesive setup, develop versatile templates, and define an overarching tone for their video content.

The content had to be clean, clear, and universally accessible, ensuring that anyone, anywhere, could easily engage with and understand the material. With global accessibility as a priority, subtitling was essential - and so too was creating a format and template for these.

Amnesty brought me on as their chief editor and multimedia creator for their e-learning suite. My primary focus was on their international development learning packages, from Child Rights and Apartheids, to Climate Justice and Human Rights. I hit the ground running, crafting engaging content and versatile templates to energise their lessons and courses.

Collaboration was key—I worked seamlessly across time zones, gathering invaluable feedback and insights from those on the ground in the regions we were teaching about.

Interviews were distilled down to push the key messaging required for each specific topic, ensuring clarity and impact. Behind the scenes, I developed a comprehensive guide to streamline future interview edits and subtitling, setting a strong foundation for ongoing learning materials.

By the end of my year with Amnesty International, I had created content for more than 5 of their courses, spanning all continents. Every video adhered to their brand guidelines, while introducing fresh, engaging elements that resonated with their global audience. Additionally, I developed templates to ensure the continuation of high-quality, impactful content for future projects.
