Overview 🔎

The objective of this project was to create a simple video editing from elements provided by the client (video sequence, texts, fonts, colors, editing script, …) by adding the Motion design dimension in order to render the production dynamical.

On request, this one has no soundtrack (element added by a compositor).

Final version available on the APF France handicap YouTube channel.







Process 🛣

In order to realize this project, I went through several well-defined stages.

1. Exchange with the client to define the project, know all the technical details and the element provided.
2. Realization of the scenarios (Editing and Motion design) in order to clarify the direction of the project.
3. Creation and configuration of the composition within After Effects: dimensions of the production (3840x1920 px), choice of the number of frames per second (25 FPS), approximate duration (1 min. 40 sec.).
4. Editing of the production on the basis of a script and indications provided by the client.
5. Production export through Premiere Pro (H.264): 2 video file (.Mp4 & .Mov); 2 cover pictures (JPG & PNG).
6. Returns & revisions.

Takeaways 📣

The realization of this project asked me to deepen my creativity in the development of elements in Motion design since the goal was to create a presentation that is both simple (in its shapes, colors and effects) on a white background and at the same time dynamic particularly in the appearance of the different elements and transitions.

In addition, its design had to take into account the fact that the production could accommodate a voiceover afterwards.
