Cable and wire fault detection

A YOLOv8n detector for cable and wire faults in outdoor photos. Cable detection reaches mAP50 0.888. Defect-only detection is mAP50 0.713 at precision 0.81 and recall 0.68, and the four-class run is mAP50 0.831. I report those numbers because they decide how it is used. This is a screening aid that puts a human in front of the photos worth checking. It is not a safety certificate.
