From April to July 2024, I partnered with NewBodyBeauty.co, a beauty and skincare brand looking to refresh and scale their short-form content. They needed help transforming existing ad creatives and B-roll into highly engaging, platform-optimized videos.
🤝 The Problem & Solution
The challenge? New Body Beauty had high-performing long-form ads, but no strategy to repurpose them into engaging short-form content across multiple platforms. They needed fast daily delivery, creative strategy, and someone who could match their visual style without hand-holding.
My solution:
• Delivered 10 edited videos per day, using CapCut.
• Created multiple variations from each ad to A/B test performance.
• Used a storytelling formula focused on the problem/solution format.
⚙️ My Editing Strategy
Formula I used in every video:
1. Hook: Scroll-stopping opening that highlights a problem.
Proof: Before/after visuals showing the product in action.
Value: Highlighted key features + benefits with on-screen text.
4. CTA: A strong call to action + announce promotions + direct viewer to website
Profit: Converting viewers to sales
To keep viewers engaged, I:
• Used trending audios, trends, and relatable pop culture clips.
• Added alluring captions and text on screen
• Edited with fast-paced cuts, motion captions, and zooms.
