As marketing lead for 3,000 nurses at Cambridge University Hospitals, it was my job to celebrate their work and report on achievements, with the ultimate goal of recruiting more nurses, and securing funding (CUH is a leading teaching and research hospital).
In 2014, I divised, curated, and reported on the Trust's first ever Nursing Expo, a chance for nurses across the Trust to share their work with peers and the general public. This flyer formed part of the promotion, and was included in press packs sent out to local and national journalists.
Immediately following the event, the Trust had over 500 new applications from aspiring nurses.
