"Practice Vol.1" was a project born from the act and habit of practice. Every day for a set amount of time I sat and drew a minimum of one new illustration utilizing a set variety of drawing utensils. Parallel pens and brush pens were the main tools involved but there was room for flexibility if necessary. A time went on this collection of images seemed to speak more as a body of work than individual images. Thus the "Practice Vol.1" zine was born. Printed in a limited number, and sold at a gallery opening featuring the original works printed inside. The zine functioned as a unique and fun celebration of the art and act of practice.
