Ellucian Journey — AI-Powered Career Pathways Platform

Journey is a platform that links institution curriculum to current workforce expectations, creating a direct connection between higher education institutions and the workforce. The skills-based approach helps individuals grow in what they're already working on, strengthening their skillset and advancing in their careers.

I worked on this product at Ellucian and developed an interactive skill map using JavaScript (D3 library) and React. Skills are extracted using Claude AI based on the courses and modules a student is enrolled in, generating a visual map they need to succeed in their career pathway.

The platform serves 3,000+ higher education institutions across the US and internationally, helping students and institutions align academic programs with real-world workforce demands.
