EXT. CITY STREET - NIGHT
We see JASON, a young man in his 20s, walking down a dimly lit street. He's wearing a leather jacket and has a troubled look on his face.
INT. BAR - NIGHT
Jason walks into a bar and takes a seat at the counter. He orders a whiskey and tries to drown his sorrows. Suddenly, a beautiful woman, LUCY, enters the bar and catches his eye. She sits next to him and strikes up a conversation.
LUCY:What's a handsome man like you doing in a place like this?
JASON:Just trying to forget about my troubles.
LUCY:I know the feeling. Want to dance?
They hit the dance floor and start to fall for each other. After a few drinks, they leave the bar together.
INT. APARTMENT - NIGHT
Lucy and Jason are now in Lucy's apartment, making love. Jason feels like he's found true love.
JASON:You're amazing. I've never felt this way before.
LUCY:I feel the same way.
They fall asleep in each other's arms.
INT. BANK - DAY
We see Jason, wearing a ski mask, robbing a bank with a group of criminals. He looks nervous, but determined.
INT. APARTMENT - DAY
Lucy is watching the news on TV and sees that there has been a bank robbery in the city. She recognizes Jason in the surveillance footage and is shocked.
LUCY:(whispering to herself) Jason, what have you done?
INT. JASON'S HIDEOUT - DAY
Jason and his gang are counting the money from the heist. Jason is excited about their success and plans to take Lucy on a luxurious vacation.
INT. APARTMENT - DAY
Lucy confronts Jason about the robbery. He tries to explain that he did it for them, but she can't accept it.
LUCY:I can't be with someone who hurts innocent people. It's over.
JASON:Please, don't leave me. I love you.
LUCY:I'm sorry, Jason.
Lucy leaves the apartment, leaving Jason alone and heartbroken.
INT. JASON'S HIDEOUT - DAY
Jason is now alone, counting the money. He realizes that he's lost the love of his life and has gained nothing but money that he can't use.
JASON:(whispering to himself) What have I done?
INT. STREET - DAY
We see Jason walking down the same street from the beginning of the film. He looks defeated and lost. Suddenly, a police car pulls up and officers arrest him for the bank robbery.
INT. JAIL CELL - DAY
Jason is now in jail, thinking about his life and the choices he's made. He realizes that he's lost everything that mattered to him.
JASON:(whispering to himself) I should have listened to her. I should have stayed with her.
Fade out.
