I was hired by a company to review and overhaul their Accounting Department. Service included Quickbooks Bookkeeping and Financial Systems Operational Efficiency Consulting Project.
Reviewed current workflow and implemented recommendations for a more efficient Accounting Department.
• Reorganized their Chart of Accounts.
• Automated their Bank and Credit Card process by adding the Bank Feeds feature so that transactions automatically downloaded daily into their Quickbooks file.
• Added Vendor Rules in order to increase proficiency.
• Added Account Prefills in order to increase accuracy.
• Created Memorized Transactions to increase proficiency.
• Setup all recurring bills on Billpay
Successfully Increased operational proficiency and the company was able to save $55,000 per year by restructuring their Accounting Department and reorganizing job tasks.
