What happens when an engineer stops trying to imitate a machine and starts studying an animal?

The Chiropteran is an experimental flying machine inspired by the mechanics of bat flight. Its articulated wings attempt to reproduce the flexibility, sequential movement, and changing geometry of a biological wing.

For the Seedance 2.5 challenge, I wanted to explore that idea as a continuous cinematic journey: from observing the bat, to studying its movement, to building the machine, and finally attempting its first flight.
