Wonderful Tools is a frame-by-frame animated short exploring the relationship between human creativity and the tools we use to express it. The work reflects on creative tools not as neutral objects, but as extensions of imagination — shaping how ideas are formed, transformed, and shared.

Entirely hand-drawn on Apple iPad Pro using Procreate, the project embraces an intentionally raw and imperfect visual language to emphasize the human side of making.

From early computers to contemporary devices, each tool is portrayed as a creative companion, capable of unlocking new possibilities when understood and used consciously.

Wonderful Tools is a reflection on creative empowerment: a reminder that tools matter, and that when placed in the right hands, they can enable the creation of entire worlds.

“Wonderful Tools” explores the deep connection between human creativity and the tools that enable it—specifically, Apple’s most iconic products. Created frame by frame using Procreate for iPad Pro, the project visually narrates a historical and emotional journey from the Apple I to the Vision Pro. Each device is portrayed not just as an object, but as an extension of the human imagination—a companion in the act of creation. These devices, while technological, are ultimately human-centered. They are “wonderful tools” precisely because they empower people to build “wonderful worlds”. The final message— “Made with iPad Pro” —demonstrates how the boundary between artist and tool has never been thinner. It is not just about using technology, but about celebrating the poetic interplay between artist and instrument in shaping tomorrow’s creative expressions.
