THE SPIRITUALITY CONUNDRUM
I'm so baffled about the existence of the Supreme One, & I can't help but admire the subtle obscurity He has put mankind in.
If indeed, we're cosmic dust as nihilists & majority of scientists have come to believe, then it must have been one hell of a formation. Imagine that the sun kept hitting on the void of cosmos until all of humanity [& nature] came into being. From the tiniest of man's organelles joining into cells, to the least of man's cartilage all adding up into his os. Fire, the clouds, all components of the galaxy, the waters, the sands, formed from a composition of complex elements in a proportion that can't ever vary from place to place. The cosmic & primordial soup formation theories are ridiculous.
No, these things are more supernatural than scientific. The Supreme One flashes them [the science folks] with a little knowledge, an idea—just something really close—& it feels like, finally, they've found the truth; the origin of the universe, but in the very next second, their confusion becomes twice as worse. He makes fun of them, & tips them with more knowledge for trying so hard, just so they keep trying.
Talk about spiritualism. There's the pagans that focus on the elements with so much intent that even the Supreme One marvels at their meditation. Behind the scenes, He looks on them, chuckles at their honest but vain vibrance, & shows them pity with a sparkle of light, & their wishes come to pass. Of course, the cute bald-headed sculptures, paintings of ancestors, the gigantic trees, & the creeping reptiles take the credit. But the Supreme One doesn't mind at all.
The religious? [Haha!] Perhaps, the Supreme One is impressed by their charisma. He inspires these ones, raises a leader, gives him a doctrine & a people to guide. How well they write, how captivating are the words of each chapter. The plot-holes & many gaps [from which much questions arise] they quantify as mysteries. The miracles, the signs, the records, the testimonies—surreal. Yet, another rises tomorrow, shrieking for new knowledge has befallen him. He must pull out now for he knows the Supreme One better—how could he have been so ignorant & blinded by false teachings? Yet, few years later, he learns of another faith, cursing at the wasted years, wondering why it felt so real & true, & inevitably driving into further oblivion.
How'd I forget to mention the Christians? The Supreme One gets amused by their innocent ignorance. Boy, their confidence. They pity members of other religions & hope they get saved. Sometimes, it's like they can touch Him. Their sensation is second to none. They speak things, they cry, they roll, they even feel fire—it is so real. They classify impulsive acts & attractions of nature as lustful desires. 'Fell under anointing' the day before, & wonder why they couldn't say no to sex the next day. They bind the flesh, & rebuke all thoughts that might take the divine presence away from them.
[How could He ignore all of this? Of course, He won't.]
The Supreme One loves the drama. No, you can't & won't know Him. So, he raises antagonists in every setting. Controversies. Each one looking for a proof to reveal his belief is authentic. One scorns, & the other seeks out a [totally unrelated] disastrous occurrence to explain his god's potency in taking out mockers. One dreaming about Him & listening to His instructions & another seeing visions of a contradicting instruction. In every religion, the Supreme One places a villain or two—an outright enemy: yes, He definitely has a softspot for comical plays. He watches the attack & defense like a referee, but never interferes.
He brings you so close & takes a few steps backwards before you reach Him. You feel so close to the end of the road, only to get there to meet more diversions, each one leading to the end of nowhere. He gives you a lit candle, bids you farewell, & sends a raging wind after you. He sure doesn't want man's familiarity. Who knows? Man might just find a way to capture Him & put Him in a lab to be experimented. Man might want to abuse privilege & come back to His presence each minute with one request after the other. Man might even challenge His omniscience, & try to show the Supreme One His faults. He remains well-talked about & even felt, but UNKNOWN. Everyone knows Him, but no one does. Fascinating. Shrewd of Him.
Well, even I the writer takes a large part in the confusion & perplexity. For it is so audacious that I have assumed a gender [He] for the Supreme One. Hmm . . .

If you try to find evidences that a supreme being exists, you would find many.
If you try to find evidences that a supreme being doesn't exist you would find many. I Stand with the latter.

This sounds like a writing of an agnostic..but it's a brilliant one.
