Design Mutual Fund Dashboard to give overview of funds, profile and navigation to redirects to other screens. This was an assignment from one company. Main task was a redesign the actual applocation with doing some research and improve user interface.
I took Groww as a design referance for clean and minimal approach.
Designed text + icon base logo with Blue as the primary colour. I took minimal and clean approach to design web application dashboard.
Design Decisions
1. Improved indices to view more (created marquee effect) to see more
- By adding marquee user can see more things without navigate to other screen
2. Removed logout icon, can be add in user avatar popup
3. Improved and rearranged “My Total AUM”
- Placed at bottom left corner, to make header clean and reduced space
- User can easily glance “my total aum”, as its highlighted and easy to see.
4. Quick change button/arrow with “mutual funds” (or change navigation) to next menu “stocks”
5. Improved “related products” design and
- reduced height of the section to adjust more data on the screen,
- in the given design there are lots of colours and it makes distraction to the users
6. Improved table listing
7. Rearrange the checkbox in the table
8. Improved table pagination added items per page and total rows added to
understands users to navigate
9. In search bar added animated placeholder to
understand users to enter the details what they wants to search
10. Left sidebar menu can be fixed and right side should be vertically scrollable
so sidebar can be easily accessible easily
