Tart Deco is an independent A5 zine born from the communities of the Welsh/English border. A personal project conceived, designed, and art directed entirely in-house, the publication explores the theme of Borders - geographical, cultural, and human.

The 68-page print publication brings together local artists, poets, illustrators, musicians, and performers in a collaborative celebration of a thriving but often overlooked creative scene. Contributors span poetry, photography, illustration, long-form articles, live performance documentation, and music, all united by a sense of place and community.

Tart Deco was designed to document, elevate, and archive the creative energy of the border region. Every page layout, typographic decision, and art direction choice is original, alongside contributing photography throughout.
