In this project, I created a red and white gradated lotion tube, lotion bottle with a white cap and a spray bottle with a clear cap sitting on a red glossy surface.

Modeling :

First, I started by modeling the basic shapes of the products in a 3D modeling program. The lotion tube a curvy, cylindrical shape with a rounded top; the spray bottle a taller, more slender cylinder with a pump dispenser and a nozzle, topped with a clear cap and the lotion bottle a shorter and slender cylinder with a white cap.

Texturing:

Next, I worked on the textures for the models. The lotion tube was assigned a glossy red and white gradated texture; the lotion bottled assigned the same texture as the tube and accompanied with a glossy white cap; and the spray bottle shares the same texture as the lotion tube and lotion bottle and topped with a dark nozzle for contrast and a glossy clear plastic cap. Lastly, the texturing was finished with a splash of the ruby logo to the products.

Lighting and Rendering:

Once the models and textures were completed, I proceeded to set up the lighting and rendering for the scene. I used soft lighting to create a natural look and highlight the curves of the bottles and tube. I also added a reflective plane to simulate the glossy surface that the products are sitting on.

This project was a great way to showcase my modeling, texturing, and lighting skills.
