Early Stage Footage -

To create an engaging YouTube video, incorporating surprise elements is crucial. This was achieved in this video through high-quality b-roll and graphics. However, the raw footage had problematic audio and also the green screen chroma was not upto the mark, which was resolved using Premiere Pro tools. The final product, trimmed and ready for YouTube, includes B-roll transitions, text and graphic animations, audio cleaning, sound effects, color grading, and correction. The client was pleased with the results.

I tackled the most challenging task of editing first - cleaning up the audio due to excessive background noise in the raw footage, which hindered the dialogue's clarity.

Afterward, I trimmed the footage and eliminated potential errors while speaking, causing jump cuts.

To remedy this issue, I employed Zoom-ins and added B-roll footage and transitions.

The third phase involved adding text and motion graphics like lower thirds. Finally, I applied a color grade and exported the high-quality (4K) final video, ready for uploading on YouTube and for their other social media platforms.

This project provided a rigorous test of my audio editing skills, and I gained a better appreciation of how to use assets effectively without overusing them.
