I designed the cover for Nocturn, a novel steeped in gothic atmosphere, quiet dread, and lyrical darkness. The visual approach embraces shadow and subtlety—featuring delicate, haunting elements like a moth drawn to moonlight, faint script overlaying a textured background, or a silhouette blurred between realms. The typography is elegant and slightly eroded, suggesting age and mystery, while a moody, restricted palette of deep blues, charcoal, and metallic silver evokes the nocturnal tone of the narrative. This cover conveys a sense of haunting beauty and poetic unease, perfectly mirroring the novel’s exploration of dreams, secrets, and what lingers in the dark.
