Startup Discovery & Pitch Platform

A full-featured web platform built to connect early-stage startups, investors, and collaborators through discovery and idea pitching. The platform allows entrepreneurs to pitch ideas, explore emerging startups, and build meaningful connections for feedback and growth. Developed using Next.js, GraphQL, GraphCMS, NextAuth, and Tailwind CSS, it delivers a seamless, scalable, and secure experience for users while maintaining modern, clean design principles.

To create a secure and high-performing platform where founders can share startup ideas, discover others, and connect in one place — blending smooth UX with scalable data handling and authentication.

The biggest challenge was integrating multiple technologies efficiently — Next.js for performance, GraphQL for flexible data handling, and GraphCMS as the content layer — without compromising speed or reliability. Implementing authentication through both NextAuth and Auth0 while maintaining session stability across the entire app required detailed backend configuration. It was also essential to keep the platform intuitive and minimal while handling complex data interactions.

I designed the architecture using Next.js for fast rendering and routing, with GraphCMS managing content dynamically. GraphQL handled optimized data queries, reducing load time and enabling smooth transitions between views. For authentication, I integrated both NextAuth and Auth0 for secure, flexible login options with JWT session handling. The interface, built with Tailwind CSS, maintained a clean and consistent look across all devices. The final platform runs smoothly, scales efficiently, and demonstrates a strong technical foundation for future real-world deployment — enabling meaningful interaction between startups, investors, and early adopters.
