Great Ormond Street Hospital Interior Animated Guidelines

Daniel

Daniel Bayley

Landor Associates brief to produce an interactive, animated guidelines document to inspire, and direct a major overhaul to the interior of Great Ormond Street Hospital, which has been redeveloped over a number of years.
This involved a brand new way finding system, based on animals and their natural habitats. The ‘Rabbit Ward’ for example would be situated on the ground floor, whereas the ‘Toucan Ward’ would be located on a higher floor. Illustrative elements of these habitats feature prominently on the interior of the hospital to aid navigation.
This showreel features some of the illustration, and animation work I did for the application, and ultimately the interior of the hospital. This award-winning project was featured in Design Week and Creative Review.
