AskVerse is a web app that lets users chat with multiple AI models in one place. It supports side-by-side and full comparison views for responses from OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, Cohere, and DeepSeek. Built with clean UX, feedback animations, and model-aware toggles, the platform is optimized for long LLM latency and planned for streaming upgrade. Includes custom markdown rendering, auth via NextAuth, and a fully responsive UI.
Why AskVerse?
Switching between AI tools breaks focus and wastes time. AskVerse solves this by unifying top LLMs into a single platform for faster, more thoughtful comparisons.
This project pushed me to think deeply about async state, long-polling UX, and flexible UI for different response styles — all while keeping performance and mobile experience smooth.

Welcome Dashboard
Logged-in users are greeted with a clean, focused interface. Users can instantly start a new chat or pick from suggested task cards like drafting emails, writing essays, planning, or using a virtual assistant — all tailored to prompt AI models effectively.
Normal Response
Natural, Responsive Chat Experience
Users can see with one selected LLM at a time. The UI is structured to feel familiar and fast, with each AI's personality mode (like Imaginative) shaping its responses. Features include markdown rendering, typing animation, and mobile responsiveness.
Compared Response
Compare Responses (Side by Side)
AskVerse allows users to compare AI responses side-by-side — helping them pick the most helpful or relevant one. Here, OpenAI and Gemini reply in parallel. Dropdowns let users switch models on the fly for flexible comparisons.

AskVerse also includes a full compare mode, where all 5 LLMs respond at once (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Cohere, DeepSeek). Responses are displayed in a scrollable grid layout — ideal for users wanting multi-angle perspectives in one place.
