SocketChat is a Node.js project that implements a real-time chat application using the Socket.io library. Users can connect to a single channel and send messages to each other in real-time.

Clone the repository

Install the necessary packages by running npm install

Run the application using npm start

Access the application by opening localhost:3000 in your browser

Access the application using the link above.

Type in a username to join the channel.

Start sending messages to other users in the channel.
