Backyard Remodeling & Outdoor Living | Bold Backyards

Bold Backyards is a South Florida outdoor-living company that designs and builds custom backyard spaces — including pools, turf, fencing, and full backyard remodeling — across Palm Beach County and the surrounding area. They needed a brand-new official website built from the ground up: fast, modern, search-friendly, and ready to run paid ad campaigns. I handled the project end to end, from the first line of code to the live deployment on their own domain.

The goal was to give Bold Backyards a professional web presence that showcases their work cleanly, loads fast and scores well technically, ranks in local search, and supports Meta and Google ad tracking so their marketing spend could be measured from day one.

I built the site from scratch in React, which gave me full control over structure, performance, and the design system rather than relying on a template. This kept the codebase lightweight and made it easy to optimize load speed throughout the build. I used Claude Code across the project to move quickly on component structure and iteration, which freed up more time to refine the design and user experience instead of writing boilerplate.

For visuals, every image on the site was generated with Google's Gemini image generator, tailored to Bold Backyards' brand and the style of outdoor spaces they create. This gave the site a cohesive, custom look without relying on stock photography.

On the technical side, I wrote and improved the SEO metadata across all pages — titles, descriptions, Open Graph, and Twitter card tags — so the site was properly indexed, optimized for local search in South Florida, and displayed rich previews when shared. I also focused heavily on performance and optimization, and the finished site scores very well on speed and Core Web Vitals across both mobile and desktop.

For deployment, I shipped the site to Netlify and connected the client's GoDaddy domain, handling the DNS setup so it went live cleanly on their own address. Finally, I integrated Google Analytics and Meta (Facebook) tracking so Bold Backyards could run and measure ad campaigns and understand visitor behavior right from launch.

The result is a fully custom, high-performance website — built, optimized, and deployed end to end — that loads fast, ranks well technically, and is fully instrumented for paid marketing. Bold Backyards now has a professional web presence they own completely, ready to drive and track leads.
