I created this series of instructional videos for Vivalink, a health tech company that makes remote patient monitoring devices. The goal was to show users—whether patients or healthcare providers—how to apply, use, and remove the devices properly. I illustrated and animated everything from scratch, keeping things simple, clear, and approachable. I worked closely with the Vivalink team to make sure the tone felt friendly and helpful, while still staying true to their clean, professional brand. These videos were meant to be easy to follow no matter who’s watching, or where they’re watching from.

I started by creating custom illustrations that clearly showed each step of using the medical device. Once the visuals were in place, I built out a storyboard to map the flow of the video—focusing on the most important moments like device placement, activation, and removal. This helped make sure everything would be easy to follow before jumping into animation.

In the end, I created a total of 9 instructional videos that covered two different device sizes, three adhesive options, and two key app functions—one to help users check if the device is placed correctly, and another to monitor the device in real time. The videos broke down a lot of technical info into bite-sized, easy-to-follow visuals, and helped offer clearer guidance to both patients and clinicians. It was a fun challenge to turn something so medical and detailed into something visually friendly and simple to understand.
