I was approached by a client who wanted to create a language learning app. The client was a language school that wanted to create a way for their students to learn languages online. The client also wanted the app to have a social component, so that students could practice their language skills with other learners.
I started by researching the existing language learning apps on the market. I found that most of the apps were focused on teaching grammar and vocabulary, with little emphasis on conversation.
