Introduction

I collaborated with BoomBricks to design a landing page for their innovative crowdfunding platform dedicated to supporting Lego MOC (My Own Creation) projects.
Using Figma and Adobe Illustrator, the focus was on crafting a visually engaging and user-friendly design that connects creators with global audiences.
BoomBricks empowers creators to showcase their unique models, reach passionate fans, and bring their visions to life through community-driven support.

Project Details

The client approached me with a clear mission to support the Lego creator community by connecting them with passionate fans and empowering them to bring their unique MOC (My Own Creation) designs to life.

The Challenge

Lego creators often struggle to reach a broad audience for their MOC (My Own Creation) projects, limiting their visibility and funding opportunities. BoomBricks needed a platform design that makes it easy for creators to showcase their models, gain support, and connect with potential backers. The challenge was to create a seamless and engaging user experience that appeals to both creators and fans of all ages and technical backgrounds.

Wireframing & Layout

Using the insights gathered, I created wireframes that emphasized:
Hero section: Highlighting the platform’s mission with bold visuals of featured MOC projects.
Project showcase grid: Offering an engaging preview of active campaigns.
Clear CTAs: Encouraging users to “Support a Project” or “Submit a Creation.”

Visual Design

I opted for a playful yet professional aesthetic:
Color palette: Inspired by Lego's primary colors—red, blue, yellow, and green.
Typography: Clean and modern fonts paired with bold headings to balance creativity and readability.
Imagery: High-quality renders of MOC models to instantly capture attention.
