In 2020, my team initiated a project centered around a social media platform primarily designed for company reviews. The login process involves users signing up as individuals, allowing them to create personalized company profiles. Users can generate posts, follow other companies, view mutual connections, engage in chat interactions, and exercise the option to block others. Notably, the ability to submit reviews is restricted to user profiles.
For the implementation of this project, I utilized React.js. My senior provided the project setup with Redux and the entire UI design. My specific responsibilities encompassed integrating APIs, implementing validations, and developing the subsequent logical steps. My initial focus was on the SignUp form page, where I made minor UI enhancements. Subsequently, I worked on the Login user profile, review form, create posts form, validations, connection creation, request responses, and blocking functionalities.
Additionally, I designed and implemented search logics for listing connections. In the main dashboard, I facilitated the display of posts from followed connections along with mutual ranking. Throughout the project duration, spanning one year, my contributions were vital to these specific aspects. It's important to note that other elements of the project were handled by my senior.
