Background: When Dan hired me to help MergeYourData.com revamp its content strategy, his technical consulting agency was going through a big change: Pivoting to focus on servicing manufacturing companies. He wanted to build a content strategy that could scale with his business and a content workflow that worked with his growing team. He also wanted to incorporate the Storybrand framework to his updated messaging.
How I Helped: I started with his overall content strategy, which included keyword research, a content audit and in-depth audience research. I focused on identifying key problems manufacturers were facing and directly addressing those problems in MergeYourData.com's content.
I also designed sub-strategies for their LinkedIn and YouTube pages, as well as revamped their podcast approach.
I also set up their workflows and developed a repurposing strategy so their team could use their content effectively.
