Email Design System for Aalto Healthcare

Creating this email design system was about finding the balance between elegance, warmth, and clarity. In industries like healthcare and beauty, communication often feels either too clinical or overly commercial, so the goal here was to create something that feels trustworthy while still visually engaging.

The visual direction centers around a forest green and ivory palette to create a calm, premium, and grounded atmosphere. The darker green tones help communicate trust and professionalism, while the soft ivory backgrounds keep the experience feeling light, approachable, and clean.

One of the most enjoyable parts of this project was building the branding imagery direction. Instead of relying on overly polished visuals, the imagery was designed to feel more cheerful, fun, and human — bringing a sense of personality into the experience while still maintaining a refined aesthetic.

The layouts were crafted to make the content feel easier to digest across multiple email flows, from educational sections and onboarding to promotional campaigns and storytelling moments. A strong focus was placed on spacing, typography, and visual hierarchy to keep every section feeling intentional and comfortable to read.

A project focused on making healthcare communication feel softer, more modern, and emotionally connected, while still keeping the overall brand experience elegant and visually memorable.
