Ariel - Brand and Product Design

Ariel, born within the Semiotics chair, offered in the Digital Design course at the Federal University of Ceará, Quixadá campus, based on the discussions and activities of the discipline. On the internet, there are several tutorial videos from bloggers and beauty professionals teaching how to apply makeup, but the videos hide errors in the makeup process through editing, lighting and production. Furthermore, not all of these tutorials take into account the individualities of those who watch, such as cultural issues, available products and ethnic traits.

Ariel is more than a mirror with AI, she is a friend who teaches you how to apply makeup!

The solution seeks to meet a demand related to the beauty sector, specifically makeup. Using artificial intelligence, image processing, human-computer interaction through speech and Ariel's ability to propose different makeup styles according to occasions and respecting ethnic and cultural traits seems utopian for today's technology, but it is the type of product that we need to think about today, to ensure the advancement of technology and science.
